ANTNUM Virtual Goods Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all virtual goods purchased through the ANTNUM platform (www.antnum.com, collectively referred to as the "Platform") and constitutes an integral part of the ANTNUM Terms of Service. By purchasing virtual goods on the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Refund Policy.
一、Scope of Application
This policy applies to all virtual goods transacted on the Platform, including but not limited to:
• Digital codes (e.g., game activation codes, gift card codes, software license codes);
• In-game virtual items (e.g., skins, props, currency, membership privileges);
• Digital content (e.g., e-books, audio and video courses, digital artwork);
• Subscription-based virtual services (e.g., monthly/annual memberships, premium service packages).
二、 General Refund Principles
2.1 Non-Refundability of Fully Delivered Virtual Goods
Virtual goods are intangible and non-physical in nature, and their delivery is completed immediately upon successful transaction (e.g., code issuance, item delivery to account, service activation). Once delivery is confirmed, no refunds will be provided under normal circumstances, including but not limited to:
• Change of mind by the purchaser (e.g., regret after purchase, accidental order placement);
• Duplicate purchase of the same virtual good;
• Inability to use the virtual good due to the purchaser's own reasons (e.g., incompatible device/account, failure to meet usage requirements, loss of account access).
2.2 Exceptions for Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be requested and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis only under the following circumstances:
2.2.1 Failure to Deliver Virtual Goods
• The Platform fails to deliver the purchased virtual goods to the purchaser's designated account/channel within the agreed time limit (excluding delays caused by force majeure such as server maintenance, network failures, or third-party service interruptions);
• The delivered virtual goods are invalid (e.g., activation code has been used, expired, or does not match the purchased product specifications) and cannot be resolved through replacement or re-delivery.
2.2.2 Technical Defects of Virtual Goods
• The purchased virtual goods have inherent technical defects that render them completely unusable, and the defect cannot be repaired or replaced with a functional alternative within a reasonable time frame (verified by ANTNUM technical team or the product's official provider);
• Subscription-based virtual services fail to provide the promised functions during the service period (e.g., premium membership privileges are unavailable for no justifiable reason) and cannot be restored after multiple troubleshooting attempts.
2.2.3 Unauthorized or Fraudulent Transactions
• The purchase is confirmed to be made without the consent of the account holder (e.g., unauthorized use of a third-party payment account, minor's unauthorized purchase without guardian consent);
• The transaction is identified as fraudulent (e.g., payment is reversed due to fraudulent means, transaction information is forged), provided that the purchaser can provide valid proof (e.g., payment platform fraud verification documents, police reports, guardian confirmation for minor purchases).
2.2.4 Force Majeure or Platform Termination
• The virtual good is rendered permanently unusable due to force majeure (e.g., the official operator of the game/software shuts down services, the relevant product is banned by regulatory authorities);
• ANTNUM terminates the provision of the relevant virtual good/service in advance without prior notice, resulting in the purchaser being unable to use the remaining validity period/rights of the purchased product.
三、Refund Application Process
3.1 Application Conditions and Time Limit
• Eligible applicants must submit a refund request to ANTNUM customer service within 7 calendar days from the date of transaction (or the date of discovery of the problem, for defects/undelivered goods);
• For subscription-based services, refund requests for unused service periods must be submitted within 3 calendar days from the date of discovery of service failure.
3.2 Required Proof Materials
To apply for a refund, the purchaser must provide the following valid materials (as applicable) to customer service:
• Order number, transaction time, and payment proof (e.g., payment screenshot, bank/third-party payment bill);
• Proof of failure to deliver (e.g., screenshot of unreceived goods, invalid code verification result);
• Proof of technical defects (e.g., error prompt screenshot, technical test report from ANTNUM or official provider);
• Proof of unauthorized/fraudulent transactions (e.g., payment account anomaly record, minor age certificate, guardian statement, police report);
• Other materials required by ANTNUM to verify the validity of the refund request.
3.3 Review and Processing
1. Application Receipt: ANTNUM customer service will confirm receipt of the refund application within 24 working hours and inform the applicant of the review timeline (no more than 5 working days).
2. Verification: The ANTNUM team will verify the application materials, transaction records, and product status. For third-party-provided virtual goods, ANTNUM may coordinate with the third party for verification, and the review period may be extended appropriately (up to 10 working days), with prior notice to the applicant.
3. Result Notification:
o If the refund request is approved, ANTNUM will notify the applicant of the refund amount and timeline within 1 working day of verification;
o If the request is rejected, ANTNUM will provide a written explanation of the reasons for rejection.
4. Refund Execution:
o Approved refunds will be processed within 3-7 working days (depending on the payment channel's settlement cycle);
o Refunds will be returned to the original payment account used for the transaction;
o For subscription-based services with partial unused periods, the refund amount will be calculated on a pro-rata basis (deducting the fees for the used period, excluding any promotional discounts).
四、Special Provisions
4.1 Third-Party Provided Virtual Goods
For virtual goods provided by third-party partners (e.g., game publishers, software vendors), ANTNUM will coordinate with the third party for refund verification and processing in accordance with the third party's relevant policies. ANTNUM is not liable for delays or rejections of refunds caused by the third party's rules or verification process.
4.2 Promotional/Discounted Virtual Goods
Refunds for virtual goods purchased at a discount, with coupons, or during promotional activities will be based on the actual amount paid by the purchaser (excluding the face value of coupons, rebates, or other preferential benefits). ANTNUM reserves the right to recover promotional benefits if a full refund is granted.
4.3 Limitation of Liability
ANTNUM shall not be liable for any indirect losses incurred by the purchaser due to refund delays or rejections, including but not limited to opportunity costs, indirect economic losses, or emotional damages. The maximum refund amount shall not exceed the actual transaction amount of the relevant virtual goods.
五、 Dispute Resolution
If the purchaser disagrees with the refund review result, they may:
1. Submit an appeal to ANTNUM customer service within 3 working days of receiving the result, providing additional supplementary proof materials;
2. If the appeal is rejected, resolve the dispute through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or litigation in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions in the ANTNUM Terms of Service.
六、 Policy Updates and Notice
ANTNUM reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy from time to time in accordance with business development and regulatory requirements. Updated policies will be published on the Platform's official page, and the effective date will be indicated. Continued use of the Platform's virtual goods purchase services after the policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
